Working as Christ’s Body

We are all part of the body of Christ, lay and ordained, paid church employee and volunteer. The rector and personnel committee hope to encourage awareness about staff roles, employee guidelines, as well as best practices for all church members – the “priesthood of all believers” (I Peter 2:5).

Mutual Ministry Review Documents. These outline the background and most recent procedures for the rector’s MMR.

Job Descriptions. Each job description has a corresponding performance evaluation (the rector’s is given as an example). Job descriptions may evolve after evaluations to keep pace with current responsibilites and new priorities.

Core Competencies. All of us are learning how to best use our gifts and skills for God’s Church and for the world. Below is a list of core competencies to which Christ Church employees and all those who minister in Christ’s name are encouraged to aspire:
