Ukraine
The quilters of Christ Church raised money for Ukrainian refugee relief with a raffle that raised over $2000. The quilt was hand-made and pieced with hearts and the colors of Ukraine.
Tanzania
The Diocese of Milwaukee has a companion relationship with the Anglican Dioceses of Tanzania. All Saints Church, in the village of Ruatala, is the congregation in Fr. Oswald’s village. We assisted with the building of a church school building. Then participated in a matching grant to raise funds to dig a clean water well for the community. People’s current source of water is a long walk to a dwindling river used for drinking water and laundry. Stay tuned for the progress on the well.
Episcopal Relief and Development
Episcopal Relief and Development is the worldwide relief agency of the Episcopal Church. It provides money and resources in times of emergency or disaster.
The Haiti Project
The Haiti Project – 90% of the Haiti Project’s budget goes to Haiti to help those in need — especially those living in the small, rural village of Jeannette. The three Episcopal Dioceses in Wisconsin are partners committed to working with St. Marc’s Church and school in Haiti to reach out and help the community in Jeannette. Our goal is Haitian self-reliance. Learn more on our Haiti page.
